Well this is more than a pub The food is excellent and that is reflected in the price, but I think worth it. It a a cosy old charm, the staff are attentive without being intrusive.
Absolutely lovely, greated on arrival by friendly professional service team, taken to our table where we was given a hamper with glasses, cutlery and hand sanitiser. Food can out in no time and it was gorgeous. Had the 8oz fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection the girlfriend had the chicken and that was lovely too. I've never been boefre but will definitely be going back. Absolutely fantastic. 10/10
Always guarantee a warm, friendly welcome when we visit. The food is always spot on. You know you're going to walk away at the end of the evening, having had a belly full of wonderful food in a great little pub. We always look forward to our visits here with family and friends.
THE best restaurant in the Clent area by a huge margin. My wife is a fan of Lamb and as she always orders better choices from the menu I decided to join her with the lamb dish on offer. Make sure that you have a good appetite because it's a large portion that is perfectly cooked and presented. Simply delicious. Not the cheapest restaurant around but absolutely not the most expensive either. You get what you pay for at The Fountain I guess and simply put that is great food/service/ambience and a lovely host who made us feel well looked after and valued customers. Go as soon as you can, you will not be disappointed!
Went for a meal with my other half, we got served by Annie and Nick l. Food was great and the place always very welcoming.
A lovely discovery on the way from London to Shrewsbury! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the vibe is relaxed, and our server was kind and attentive. A perfect example of a great local restaurant run with love by the owner
